In Sanskrit, the two parts of the day, sunrise and sunset are called "Sandhya" (San referring to 'good' and Dhya to 'meditate'). As we gather in the garden we will honor one of the most energetically important moments in the day for meditation, sunset. The energies at dusk are governed by the forces of Vata (air and ether) and through a sequence of moon salutations and pranayama techniques, we will work on stabilizing and grounding this energy in preparation for meditation. Through the art of stillness, balance your mind-body relationship, open your heart and enjoy the benefits of the highest yoga practice, meditation. All are welcome.
