We are earthen guardians bearing messages from her cries. We offer ways of hope, of resolve, of wisdom to reveal ways we may weave forward in a good way. Let us step softly upon her back. May we reverently honor all that she provides, and remember to give back what she needs in order to sustain.

Aigul Safiulina

Aigul is a multilingual community builder, storyteller, and breathwork coach, with a strong passion for eco-wellness and green events management. Having previously co-founded Zero Waste Life, Aigul has been building and contributing to the Hong Kong community of green startups and developing various startup ecosystems across Europe, Asia and South America.

Aigul has also worked with Brinc and WHub to deliver the Internet of Life Summit in 2018 and Startup Impact Summit in 2019, part of StartmeupHK festival, bringing together over 3,000 attendees, 100+ startups and 40+ partners.

She has organized the first Startup Weekend in Zero Waste and Sustainability in Asia (second globally), an event that generated 313g of waste in 3 days; and Global Startup Weekend - My Circular Lifestyle in Hong Kong.

Roz Keep

I am a life long campaigner having started at age 9 outside the supermarket selling home made cake in aid of Animal Hospital and then Rainforest Action and saving whales etc during teens. Perhaps the key is to make our precious young ones care about nature however and whenever we can, either at home from our own enthusiasm, or if teaching in primary schools.

Lance Lau

Lance Lau is a 10 years old local climate activist who has been campaigning outside his school every Friday since the September Global Climate Strike on 20 September. He has joined and organized multiple environmental activities to raise awareness about human destruction on our planet. He wants to speak for his generation, increase awareness, inspire people to act and pressure the government to take drastic climate actions now.

Co-Founder Circular Community Hong Kong

Circular Community HK (CCHK) Individuals from a variety of industries, committed to sharing what they know, and how they know it, with the wider community with the aim of cutting back on waste.

As one of the founding members I am part of the concept creation behind initiatives and events as well as producing content and documenting our projects.

With a vision to create a number of events for the public with the help of industry experts, rethinking waste is the name of the game as CCHK create community and solutions to the challenges Hong Kong faces.
